Transport

We are not blessed with public transport links in our parish but we do have a bus service to Plymouth, a mainline train station in nearby Ivybridge and a very good Ring and Ride service for those unable to use public transport.

Cornwood and Lutton are both served by the number 59 bus run by Oakley Coaches which goes to Plymouth. Click here for the timetable.

Trains from Ivybridge station run to Plymouth and Exeter (and on to London). The station has a large, free car park. Click here for timetable.

The Ring and Ride scheme provides public transport for people who find it difficult to use conventional public transport services due to age or mobility difficulties. You do not have to be registered disabled to use this service but you do need to register with Ivybridge and District Rig and Ride before booking transport which you can do on their website  here.

If you would like to have a go at car-sharing to reduce your carbon footprint, there is a Devon-wide car share group that you can access here.
